Editorial: Lest We Forget

I am continuing to write a weekly column for Naturally Spirited and this week I wrote one about the relative cons of biopics: how the choice of actor, their performance and resulting oscar buzz often overshadow the story of the person the biopic is actually about. The examples I used were Michelle Williams turn in the forthcoming Marilyn Monroe film and how her every move is being noted at the moment - down to the platinum blonde tips of her hair - and the appalling decision to award Penn Bagdley the role of Jeff Buckley, and that I will not be able to take this film seriously regardless of how good his performance is. Dan Humphrey, really?! You can head over here to read the full thing.
