Editorial: Salvation

I shoot a lot with Sara Orme but unfortunately wasn't around in Palm Springs - just casually - when she took a model up to Salvation Mountain or Slab city to capture those beautiful locations and amazing light. You can check out the full shoot HERE.

Shoot: WhyWho Winter 2012

I love working with the lovely ladies at shoe brand WhyWho, which is why - after shooting their Winter 2011 and Summer 2011-12 campaigns and look books - I jumped at the chance to shoot their Winter 2012 look book. It hasn't been released yet so I can't give much away, but here's a sneak peak and it will undoubtedly go up on Always Sometimes Anytime as soon as it's ready. Cool.

Editorial: A Very Unimportant News Post I am Proud of

OK, so writing the news for Always Sometimes Anytime and UnderTheRadar is a daily, ultimately non-creative affair in which we get as much information up as quickly as possible. However, because I opened the paper one morning and discovered that Fassbender had won the award for Best Actor at the Venice Film Festival for his role as as sex addict in Shame I had to write a news post that included this information but also basically just stated HOW AMAZING HE IS. So that's what I did here, and I then followed that up with a column about Bromance for Naturally Spirited. Obsessive much?

UPDATE: The Naturally Spirited Post 'I Love You Man' is now up, including some photoshopping that I am quite proud of.

Shoot: Fell in Love with a Girl

It is my pleasure to be able to show people these beautiful large format polaroids shot by Sara Orme. Dealing with the issues of gender identity we took two extremely secure, beautiful models - Amelia and Duncan - to question what it means to be male and female. You can cehck out the rest of these HERE.

Editorial: Hip to be Square

The frivolous and hopefully somewhat funny column I write for Naturally Spirited continues and last week I wrote a piece about the fact that celebrities everywhere are discovering their lame side in the spirit of bringing themselves - and us - back down to earth in terms of the limitation to skill sets even these people possess. Like, for example, how Charlotte Gainsbourg cannot dance AT ALL. Head over here to have a read.

Editorial: NZFW Coverage

Woah, so apologies for the lack of updates but last week was NZFW here and we have been crazy sorting all of our coverage for this. You can check it out over here or have a look at some of the pictures below. Thanks to Claire Wolfe for the photography, didn't she do an amazing job.
